About C12

Founded in 1992, C12 operates Business Forums around the globe for Christian CEOs, key players, and business leaders. C12 members participate in monthly meetings with peers for leadership development, accountability, wise counsel, and best practices to lead Businesses as a Ministry (BaaM). Structured as a franchisor, C12 supports more than 175 full-time Chairs who operate hundreds of Forums representing about 4,000 members around the world. We daily see God at work in the marketplace working through our members to steward His businesses while changing lives of employees, customers, vendors, and the communities where we operate.

What experience and qualities do you look for in a C12 Chair?


C-suite, executive or business owner experience, spiritually mature, financially stable, servant leader, lifelong learner, and a desire to make an impact helping other business owners grow.



Is the C12 Chair role a full-time position?


Yes, the Chair role is a full-time position. A prospective Chair must have the willingness to invest the time, energy, and resources to be the "owner operator" of your practice with no other active vocational interests.



How is a C12 Chair compensated?



C12 Chairs are compensated from the monthly dues paid by their members. The more members a Chair has, the more income potential.

Primary Responsibilities and Activities


  • Facilitate monthly C12 Business Forums
  • Actively coach and guide CEOs and business owners
  • Actively seek prospective members through networking, referrals, cold calling, social media research, and other resources
  • Regularly coordinates monthly Business Forums and events with excellence
  • Collaborates regularly with Principal Chair to grow the market

Requirements


Mature Christ-Follower

Believe and live a life that indicates Jesus is your Lord and Savior, the “whole Bible is wholly true,” God has a plan for every believer’s life and includes their business. Be a hearer and doer of God’s Word, with an unwavering biblical worldview. In addition, must have a call from God to serve as a Chair. 


Entrepreneurial Attitude and Spirit

A “can do,” self-starting mindset, with the willingness and ability to be in business with us. Be a full-time owner operator of your practice with no other active vocational interests. Also, a desire to build long-term value by spreading the Gospel, developing healthy relationships, and maintaining business fairness. 


Ability to Invest Financially

Must have a willingness to invest time and financial resources to build a solid practice. Typical start up investment of $20-30K and 18-24 months of personal cashflow is needed.


Business Leadership Principles and Lifelong Learner

Must have business leadership skills and understands how the Bible applies to business. Also, a servant leader, lifelong learner, embraces responsibilities with the mindset of God owns it all, and a strong desire to share this wisdom with others. 


Business Ownership or C-Suite Experience

Ideal candidates relate to C12 members and prospects as peers. 


Trustworthy Advisor to Peers

Must be able to earn the respect of business peers who will seek your advice and counsel.


Business Development Mindset

Must have the gravitas and ability to work a pipeline of prospective members but also have the resilience that goes with a typical sales process.


Franchise Orientation

Must be able to balance the entrepreneurial mindset with the recognition of the compliance required that goes with a franchise. C12 provides a gold standard franchise process, and it is necessary for all Chairs to follow this standard offering.


Resilience

Must be able to bounce back from adversity and rejection. Growing a C12 practice will be challenging. C12 is not for everyone so filling C12 groups requires a sales mentality and tenacity to push through the sales process.
